Last Wednesday night, groups marched in candlelight vigils all over the state of California to voice their opposition to the passage of Proposition 8, which amended the state constitution to outlaw same-sex marriage. The marches took place the night before the California Supreme Court was to hear oral arguments on the legality of the measure. Kink.com's own Director of Human Resources, Vince, having married his longtime partner during the brief period when same-sex marriage was still legal, is one of the many individuals who will be directly affected by the ruling, as it is unknown whether or not the court will retroactively nullify existing marriages. The impending decision, which must be made within 90 days, is sure to have major repercussions that affect millions of people throughout the state and beyond, as this epic struggle for equal rights continues. Earlier this week, Kink.com Founder and CEO Peter Acworth decided to drop in on TheTrainingOfO.com to see how Satine Phoenix was doing with her 2nd week of training. Since Phoenix is one of the two sultry trainee slaves petitioning to enter the Slave Class of Service in this Friday's LIVE test shoot for the TheUpperFloor.com, Peter was curious to check her progress. In case you haven't heard, comedian Margaret Cho is a big fan of Kink.com, especially our irresistibly naughty Princess Donna.
