The Training of O, brainchild of director James Mogul, is officially starting production. This new site will deal with the training of a slave during a full week of shooting. Each slave will be taught different skills and will learn something about herself during the process. The very real experience felt by the slave will be captured and released in a series of 4 updates on this new site, which is scheduled to go live in May 2007. "I was very impressed by the test shoot with Bobbi Starr", said Kink.com CEO Peter Acworth, "it delves deeply into psychological aspects of BDSM and makes for compelling viewing. This site goes into uncharted territory and I think it has great potential. It will serve to show people how deep BDSM experiences can really be."

Kink.com's vice president of marketing, Reena Patel, has been featured on November's issue of AVN Online. Reena was highlighted in the article, "Queens of the Industry," where female executives in the adult entertainment industry spoke about their experiences. Below is what Reena had to say.

"Some of the most brilliant minds I have ever come across are within this industry, and I find the challenges and opportunities very fulfilling. The industry provides me the ability to explore creativity, personalities, production, and entertainment in a way other sectors couldn't accommodate.

"I have to say that, personally, my growth and all that I have learned and continue to learn are my greatest triumphs daily. I have been extremely lucky in being able to work with some of the best people and companies within the industry, and I am constantly faced with opportunities. I do love the people I work for and love what I am challenged with; those are essentially my greatest triumphs.

"The industry has changed dramatically since I have been a part of it. The challenges I see daily in this workforce are really not gender-based, but general challenges faced by both men and women regularly in work situations. One could say that a woman has to work harder, has more to prove - and although I think that may be true in isolated situations, I truly believe the adult industry fosters and respects individuals who 'do good business' - woman or man."

James Mogul joins Kink.com to direct Meninpain.com and to start directing a new site, The Training of O, which is still in the developmental stages. “James is a fantastic rigger, as can be seen on his website, NawaShibari” said Kink.com CEO Peter Acworth, “He enjoys strict ropework and applies it expertly. He also likes to delve into the psychological aspects of BDSM. I think he will be a wonderful addition to our team.”

Cyd Black joins Kink.com to start production of a new site, Device Bondage, which deals with the use of medieval metal restraints and BDSM devices.

“Cyd comes with excellent skills and has been trained by the best people in the industry,” said Kink.com CEO Peter Acworth. “I am particularly excited about this site because it is closely correlated with my own interests in the field of BDSM. I have been looking for someone qualified to take on this project for some time and I am delighted to have Cyd on board. Cyd also has expertise in hosting live shows, which we will be incorporating into Device Bondage as well as many of our existing sites.” Device Bondage is due to go live in March 2007.
