I really don't think anal play with larger objects cause hemorrhoids.

They seemed to be only causes by exerting too much pressure downward on the sphincter muscle. (Basically I think it would be like over contracting the sphincter causing pockets to blood to form.

By using large objects, it should train the user to relax the sphincter thus allows better control and less likely to development.

I would know because unfortunately I am pretty sure I have 2 of them, which I developed when I was younger before I knew about enemas to help.
When I got into anal play, it actually seems to almost help stop them by becoming more aware.

The negative part of them is that they can limit how much your sphincter can stretch. My limit is at 2 inches in diam. Anything larger hurts too much.
