Very interesting piece, thanks. I liked the fact you got input from a number of different perspectives. I especially liked the interviews with Claire Adams and would love to hear more from her.
I have been into this for 3 weeks and i consider them as marks of honour. I love to see them, they remind of the pleasures i have had and the potential of pleasures to come. I empathise with the models however, they simply can't turn up for new shoots marked.
In just vanilla play before I ever even KNEW anything about BDSM etc...I always LOVED to wake up the next morning with little bruises here and there because it was a reminder that I'd been VERY well used, well loved, however you choose to look at it. It's not a big stretch for me to see the furthest extreme this could go to. you know its kinda weird that AIget into this as much as I do because Ive yet to feel a good lashing. An interesting psychological aspect of BDSM. Obviously there are viewers who are hugely excited by the picture of models showing "damage" to their skin, confirming the authenticity of the caning, whipping, whatever.I think the persistence of marking on male models is not such a problem as this adds to their "macho" image, but I heal slowly so I try to limit the "damage" I receive.
