Ok this really pisses me off. Mark is one of the nicest people on the face of the planet, and these idiots try and seriously hurt him, and manage to rough him up pretty badly. -GRRR-!!! I really really hope that Karma pays them back in a big way.
Mark, all of us that love you are really grateful that you're okay. Good luck moving and hope the headaches go away soon!

Fascinating story.
You should film the interviews somewhere smaller. It's great when he's yelling "suck my dick, bitch", but I could barely listen to what poor Mark was saying without concentrating, and even rewind some in the middle.
Otherwise, I like all these behindkink-videos. Keep up the good work! :)

This is still the number one reason I will not pay for any of kink's content. The sound quality ranges from fair to abysmal. You just did a shoot with Rita. Was there nothing you learned from her? There are deaf/HoH people who are into kink, watch your site, would like to join, but you do nothing to entice them.
The Training of O looks fantastic with James' mental bondage equaling his ties, and The Upper Floor appears to be taking that fantasy several levels further. Sex & Submission have great mindgames from time to time, as do other sites that engage in roleplay. None of the intricacies of these intellectual BDSM games carry to an audience that can't understand a single word of it because the audio is trash.
I'm not asking for captions on all of your shoots, (though it would be wonderful) because I know how expensive certified captioners are.
But seriously, how hard is it to shoot dialogue out of mic range of another scene, or adjust the levels of performers so we can hear James' soft commands over the slave's screaming orgasms?
Dang, it's got to suck having to be a bouncer for your own place (and then get beat up!).

I can never hear 95% of any sights sounds. What is your
sound problem. It is disgusting 100% of the time. Spend a buck. It won't hurt you. Cut out the fancy duds and fix it. Damn.
I hope they have been caught by now and are behind bars. A concussion really sucks and the affects can last a long time - not to mention having scars on the face of someone in the entertainment business. And plus, it probably kinda sucks to be jumped in your own frgging home! Really bites.
This sounds a bit odd, but i thought Mark Davis was a huge asshole until i saw this! I have completely underestimated the man and though i have subscribed from time to time to each of kink's sites, i never watch the interviews, really.
I am a man of both action and (some might regret) violence. As a rugby player i get most of my violence out, but of course i have an underlying fire burning all the time. From what i see Mark is not like that at all, which makes him the perfect man for his job! In my personal life i do a bit of bondage and some rough stuff, but i am over the top careful, b/c i am terrified of accidentally hurting a smaller, weaker partner. I realize now that Mark is able to do what he does with such an intensity due to the fact that inside, he is a hell of a nice guy!
It is very nice to be proven wrong sometimes and i am glad to see that that was the case. I am not glad however that such a thing happened to such a good guy and if interested, Mark, i would happily call myself "Karma" for ya and take care of business with about 14 of my closest associates!

I would be willing to do captioning for you for a fair fee (or barter, I'm flexible). I'm not squeamish about porn and I transcribed video all the time when I was researching my Ph.D., so I'm accurate and I enjoy doing it. I'm also a media professor looking for a permanent home, so I could use the work. I have been trying to get Kink.Com to improve their sound for ages. They don't need to spend money, they just need to educate themselves and GIVE A SHIT. But they don't. So don't hold you breath that the sound will change. The truth is that Kink.Com doesn't have the skilled personel to make proper sound, and they never will because they train from within.
The best warrior is the one who wins a war, without making a war. Grettings, Mark Davis you are a good actor in your profession. Non violence aspects is always better. The violence, could mark you for a long time: It is alike to put fire -who may have- no end.
The reason that Kink has such a great sound proboem is because the windows of the Castle are always open. The sounds from the streets block out the dialogue on each set. Maybe the windows can be closed around any sets

Thats really lame for them to do. That even pisses me off.
Get em back by wiping their harddrive through a virus, so they lose all their valuable data.
