Superb ! Maggie illustrates what I have long believed-in. She has a job that demands confidentiallity but she obviously believes in what I have long maintained that the BDSM community is totally misunderstood by "normal" society in that there are many more people living "vanilla" lives who are secretly wishing they could express themselves sexually without having to feel shame. As a therapist, I was taught that sometimes it is necessary to excite clients sexually to help them rid themselves of other anxieties but this has still been in the confidential confines of the treatment room with no recordings for the rest of the world to see. PsicoDom, Maggie is not talking about AIDS in the Kink world, she is educating and testing for the general population of San Francisco. Mainly the kids who are sexually active without sex education.

Yep, I realize that it is for the general population, and probably targeted at people who are more at risk ("the kids who are sexually active without sex education"). It's great work. Unfortunately, I'm sure she has a very large target audience.
However, since this is a BDSM related site, it got me to think about it and transcend it to our community, hence my previous post. As I said, it is a problem we deal with, one that should not exist given the sexual education and awareness WIITWD should demand. But that's my ideal world, and in the real world abstinence is still taught as the solution for everything.
I guess I forgot to mention before that I tought this was a very good update.
