Kink.com regularly hosts Happy Hours where employees and their guests can have a drink, unwind, share their work with their friends, and show newcomers around the impressive facility. This past Friday night, as everyone was doing just that, Kink.com Founder, CEO, and Happy Hour host, Peter Acworth, got a troubling phone call from his CTO, Daniel. He wondered what was wrong. Were the servers down? Did the network crash? Did the websites get hacked? How would Daniel know? He was stuck in the company elevator with 2 of his guests. Peter and Kink.com Facilities Manager Rich responded quickly to the crisis, calling upon the help of the San Francisco Fire Department. After some prying and pulling, the elevator doors were finally opened, and Daniel and his guests returned to Happy Hour with a great story to tell. While Kink.com Happy Hours could be called many different things, 'dull' definitely isn't one of them.
