Kink.com's IT department has been working hard for over a year to upgrade the technology that runs the company's many systems. From billing to publishing, everything was in desperate need of a major overhaul. There have been both successes and setbacks but the light at the end of the tunnel is finally within view. CTO Jeff takes a minute to explain the new billing and affiliate software, NATS, which will go live tomorrow. The software will make for a better user experience for affiliates, customers and Kink.com staff alike. With NATS in place, the IT department can finally begin to roll out each of Kink.com's sites, one at a time, on the same technology that Behind Kink is currently running on. Once every site has been converted, we can look forward to a barrage of new features that will strengthen Kink.com from the inside out.

Kink.com's expansion over the last couple of years has triggered the need for a number of new positions. After an exhaustive search, Peter finally found a Human Resources Manager, Marketing Manager and many more amazing individuals who have helped Kink transition into what it is today. But there was one last executive position that Peter couldn't seem to fill for the longest time, until now: a Controller. Maybe it was the fact that most people don't even understand what a controller does. Luckily, we have our newest Kink.com staff member to explain it to us.

Kink.com's latest toy came rolling into the Armory yesterday afternoon. It was a brand new RV with over 250 square feet of kinky possibility. Purchased to serve a number of different purposes from facilitating location shoots to being a set itself, the new RV is a welcomed addition to Kink.com's arsenal of playthings. After a tight squeeze through the Armory's 93-year-old doors, the RV was ready for action. One of the first Webmasters who will no doubt use the RV is Tomcat, of Fuckingmachines.com. Ever since he directed several shoots last summer from inside a moving SUV, he has been trying to plan a trip down the coast. With the new RV, there won't be anything stopping him, or any other Webmaster from bringing you your favorite Kink.com escapades from out on the open road.

The Adult Entertainment industry has a strict set of regulations that govern the way in which producers collect and store the age and identity information of their performers. These 2257 regulations, as they're commonly called, make sure that everyone who works in the industry is over 18. Recently, the Department of Justice proposed a set of amendments to the 2257 Regulations that have caused a small uproar within the adult industry and its supporting communities and organizations. It is felt by many that among the numerous reasonable proposed changes, there are hints of censorship and hidden agendas that serve no purpose other than to intimidate models and incapacitate smaller producers. No matter what your opinion is regarding the issues brought up by the proposed regulations, the debate it inspires will no doubt help shape the future of the freedoms and restrictions the government places on the Adult Entertainment industry. Luckily, the Department of Justice is soliciting public comments in order to help gage the viability of the proposed changes. All week, the Fucking Machines team has been busy getting ready to head to Tokyo, where they will work with the Japanese company Baby Entertainment towards creating Kink.com's first ever commercial DVD, which will be released in Japan later this summer. The company requested that Tomcat bring several fucking machines with him to Japan so that they could be used in the 10 shoots that they are planning to shoot together. But lugging 3 cumbersome fucking machines across international borders is much easier as a concept than in reality. Watch as Tomcat struggles to fit the machines into their packing crates and Marketing Manager John Sander ponders the potential problems that might arise with the Japanese customs officials.

Kink.com's new production studio, the San Francisco Armory, has 5 massive floors of possibility. With over 100 rooms to choose from, each Webmaster has been busy proposing their set ideas to the Art Department. Cyd Black, Webmaster of DeviceBondage.com, was one of the first to claim his corner of the castle and design it to fit his specific taste and needs. Because Device Bondage requires so many heavy and cumbersome devices, Cyd had the idea to create a workshop set that would serve as the home base for all of Device Bondage's shoots. The Device Bondage set is only one of many set ideas that the art and facilities departments are already hard at work planning or building. With so many rooms to work with, and the endless imagination of the production team, the Armory will likely soon be able to satisfy every fantasy imaginable.

While Kink.com long ago mastered the art of online video publication, they have yet to compile any of their thousands of movies onto DVDs for public consumption. Though it has been one of their goals for some time now, the pieces hadn't quite come together, until now. A Japanese production company called Baby Entertainment was fascinated with Fuckingmachines.com and flew some representatives out to San Francisco to discuss the possibility of working together. After meeting with Kink.com executives, the two companies came up with a plan to get the DVD project in motion. Baby Entertainment will bring a Kink.com team to Japan to shoot with Japanese models, which combined with several archival Fucking Machines movies will comprise the content of 4 DVDs to be released in Japan. Everyone at Kink.com is elated to finally see their hard work be packaged onto a DVD and presented to the global market.

After nearly 9 long months in production, Kink.com's newest website, The Training of O, finally went live today.
